Garden Maintenance in Lund
NordVerk offers professional garden and property maintenance across all of Lund and the surrounding municipalities. Our most active neighbourhoods in the city are Professorsstaden and Östra Torn, but we work everywhere, Tuna, Pålsjö, Norra Fäladen, Klostergården, Linero, Värpinge, Mårtens, Vipan, Råby, Gunnesbo and the smaller districts in between. We serve private customers as well as BRF boards, property owners and businesses.
Lund is a big city. It spans from a medieval centre to 2000s suburbs on the city limits. Garden needs vary widely with the era, the district and the property, and we adapt to each rather than running a single template across every property. The crew that takes care of an old beech hedge on Tornavägen is not necessarily the same crew that runs a row-house frame contract in Linero, but it is the same company, the same standards and the same single invoice cycle.
Lund is a big city, and we cover all of it
Garden needs in Lund vary noticeably with the district.
Central Lund (Professorsstaden, Tuna, Pålsjö, the city centre). Early 1900s villas with mature gardens, established formal hedges, old fruit trees and perennial beds shaped by multiple generations of owners. Careful, knowledgeable hands are essential here, and aggressive methods are usually wrong. See our Professorsstaden page for more detail on this side of the city.
Northern Lund (Norra Fäladen, Vipan). 1960s and 70s housing with a high share of row houses, three-storey apartment blocks and shared green areas. Common areas and BRF (co-op / housing association) administration dominate. We have framework contracts with several BRF boards here, with monthly reporting and a system for individual unit owners to add private work.
Eastern Lund (Östra Torn, Linero, Mårtens). A mix of detached villas and row houses, often with larger lots than the central districts. Many families with time-demanding professional jobs who choose season contracts specifically to remove the garden from their weekly mental load. See our Östra Torn page for more local detail.
Western and southern Lund (Värpinge, Klostergården, Råby, Gunnesbo). Family-suburb districts with standard villas from the 1970s to 1990s. Genuine villa lots with lawn, perimeter hedge, fruit trees, often a driveway long enough to need winter snow removal. The bread and butter of our route planning.
We have local presence across the whole city and can usually visit within a few days.
Common assignments in Lund
A few jobs come up across the city, regardless of district.
The mid-tier season contract. A 500 to 700 m² lot with a perimeter hedge, two or three fruit trees and a back lawn. Mowing every other week May through September, two hedge trims, spring and fall cleanup. Net price after RUT is substantially lower than the undiscounted amount, with the exact figure set at a fixed price after the free inspection.
Heritage tree pruning in the older districts. A 60 to 100-year-old apple, pear or chestnut that needs structural work without losing its character. We plan three to five seasons of careful interventions rather than a single hard cut.
BRF frame contract. A BRF with 30 to 80 apartments, several lawns, a perimeter hedge and a back path that needs winter clearing. Weekly mowing in season, two hedge trims, leaf raking, winter snow standby. Monthly invoicing to the board with written reports.
New-build startup package. A family moving into a 2010s villa in Mårtens or Gunnesbo with a half-finished garden. Initial cleanup, planting plan input, first season of regular mowing, hedge shaping in year one to set the long-term profile.
Pricing and the RUT-avdrag in Lund
All our services in Lund are eligible for the RUT-avdrag (50% labor tax deduction). For readers new to the Swedish system, here is what it means:
- The labor portion of every invoice is automatically discounted by 50%.
- The cap is 75,000 SEK per person per year, or 150,000 SEK per couple in the same household.
- We are registered for F-skatt (registered Swedish business tax), which is the prerequisite for applying the deduction on your behalf. You do nothing administratively; we file the reports with Skatteverket.
- Material costs (soil, plants, gravel) are not RUT-eligible, but for most Lund contracts labor accounts for 85 to 95% of the total.
RUT cuts the labor cost by 50% directly on the invoice. The exact net price depends on lot size and ambition. For BRF contracts the figure varies with the number of apartments and the extent of common areas. More on the RUT page.

How to get started
Get in touch by phone or the contact form and we will book a site visit at a time that works for you. The inspection is free and there is no obligation. We walk the garden together, listen to your preferences, photograph anything load-bearing for the quote, and send a written fixed-price quote promptly.
We do not start work until you have accepted the quote in writing. Once the contract is signed, you have a named contact who responds promptly and a fixed team that returns visit after visit. For BRF boards we do the inspection together with the board and produce a framework contract within a week.
