Snow Removal in Skåne: We're Ready Around the Clock

When the snow arrives, you need to know your driveway is passable, your stairs aren't slick, and the mail carrier can reach the door. We handle snow removal and anti-slip for homes, row houses, HOAs, and businesses across all of southwest Skåne, with season contracts November to March, 24/7 standby, and automatic dispatch after snowfall. You don't need to call at six in the morning. This is what we do before you even wake up.

What's included in a season contract

The contract is comprehensive, with no extra invoices for individual dispatches:

  • Snow removal of driveways, paths, stairs, parking areas, and other hard surfaces you specify
  • Anti-slip treatment with sand (on stone/pavers) or salt (on asphalt), included in the same visit
  • Snow hauling when needed, when the snow needs to leave the property entirely
  • Unlimited dispatches during the season, with fixed season price and no hourly billing
  • 24/7 standby during the entire November-March period
  • Report after each dispatch by SMS or email

How quickly we arrive

We have a service area across southwest Skåne and position vehicles strategically during winter season. Our approach:

  • Normal snowfall (5-15 cm): We dispatch promptly after snowfall ends, with fastest response during daytime weekdays.
  • Heavy snowfall (15-30 cm): We prioritize driveways and emergency exits first and return for follow-up as conditions allow.
  • Extreme weather (over 30 cm, snowstorm): Contract customers always go first. Safety surfaces are prioritized.

We follow SMHI weather forecasts and pre-position equipment ahead of known snowfalls.

Anti-slip: sand or salt?

It depends on the surface and the temperature:

  • Asphalt: Salt works well down to approximately -7 °C. Sand complements at lower temperatures.
  • Concrete pavers and natural stone: We use only sand. Salt can damage joints and porous stone.
  • Wooden stairs: Sand or specific salt-free anti-slip media.
  • Lawn and bed edges: We minimize salt nearby. Salt damages grass and plants over time.

At each dispatch we adapt the method, so you don't need to think about what's appropriate yourself.

Snow removal for HOAs: associations, and businesses

We have framework contracts with several housing associations in Lund, Malmö, and Lomma municipality, and with business customers (offices, shops, restaurants, care homes) across all of Skåne. For HOAs we offer:

  • Common paths, driveways, parking, stairs, garbage rooms
  • Fire hydrants, emergency exits, and access routes (legal requirement)
  • Roof snow removal as needed (in partnership with experienced roof workers)
  • Reports to the board after each dispatch
  • Standby in extreme weather, with contract customers first

For businesses we focus extra on customer parking, entrance areas, and delivery routes to keep operations running.

What's not included in the season contract

To keep fixed pricing and predictability, these are listed separately:

  • Roof shoveling. Requires specialized equipment and fall-arrest. We partner with experienced roof workers and quote separately.
  • Truck removal of snow. Not normally included but can be ordered at cost when needed (e.g., when the lot is full).
  • One-off clearings without a contract. Possible at hourly rate, but we always prioritize contract customers in high load.

50% RUT deduction on snow removal

Snow removal, anti-slip treatment, and snow hauling from a private property are fully RUT-eligible:

  • 50% off labor cost, directly on the invoice
  • Max 75,000 SEK per person per year (150,000 SEK per couple)
  • We handle all reporting to the Swedish Tax Agency

Snow removal on public land (street, sidewalk outside the property line) is not RUT-eligible. There you pay full price. For a home property it's normally the driveway, paths, and property line that qualify. More on our RUT page.

Areas we serve

We clear snow throughout our service area:

Book a season contract by October

Reach out by October for best availability. We do the inspection at no charge and provide a fixed season quote. Many customers combine snow removal with a year-round garden maintenance contract. Then you have one contact all year and priority both for snowfall and spring start.

Frequently asked questions

Short, honest answers to what we get asked every week. If yours is not here, just call, we are happy to help.

  1. 01How do I sign a season contract for snow removal?
Reach out by October for best availability. We do a site visit, measure surfaces to be cleared (driveway, paths, stairs, possibly roof outlets), walk through your priorities, and provide a fixed season price. The contract runs November-March and renews automatically unless you cancel.
  2. 02How quickly do you arrive after a snowfall?
With an active season contract we deploy automatically after snowfall ends. In heavy snowfall (over 10 cm) we prioritize driveways and emergency exits first and return for follow-up. You don't need to call, we dispatch based on weather conditions.
  3. 03What does a snow removal season contract cost?
For a typical home garden, the season price includes unlimited dispatches plus sanding and salting as needed. The cost is reduced by 50% through the RUT deduction on labor costs, which is applied directly on the invoice. We provide a fixed quote after inspection.
  4. 04Is snow removal RUT-eligible?
Yes, fully RUT-eligible. Snow shoveling, anti-slip treatment, and snow removal from a private property qualify for a 50% tax deduction on labor cost, directly on the invoice. Max 75,000 SEK per person per year. We handle reporting to the Swedish Tax Agency.
  5. 05Do you also handle anti-slip, or just clear the snow?
Both, typically in the same visit. We sand paths, stairs, and driveways after snow removal. Salt is used as needed on asphalt (not on stone or pavers that can be damaged). For severe ice without snowfall we also dispatch, at no extra charge for contract customers.
  6. 06What happens in extreme weather, snowstorm or prolonged snowfall?
We have around-the-clock standby during the season. In extreme weather (over 30 cm of snow, snowstorm) we prioritize contract customers first. We prioritize safety: emergency exits, fire hydrants, mailboxes, and driveways first.
